Dr. Nicole Somerville, OD
Dr. Somerville has a degree in Neuropsychology from the University of Victoria in British Columbia and a degree in Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis,
Tennessee where she graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors in 2001.
Since then, Dr. Somerville has worked at numerous locations in the Salt Lake Valley and has clinical experience in Primary Family Eyecare, Pediatrics, Ocular Disease, Low Vision, Vision Therapy, LASIK co-management, and both soft and gas permeable (rigid) Contact Lens Fitting.
Dr. Somerville has teamed with several volunteer organizations in the past to provide eyecare to those in underdeveloped countries and hopes to continue to do so once her two children are older. She also has a professional interest in Computer Vision Syndrome and Neuro Optometric Rehabilitation and hopes to eventually incorporate these areas into her practice.
She currently sees patients on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Venice Optometry in Sandy.
