Dr. Marco Arici, OD

Dr. Arici earned his BS in Biology with Magna Cum Laude Honors from Arizona State University in 1996, then his Optometry degree from Indiana University in 2000. He trained at the Military Hospital in Perry Point, MD and at the Eye Institute of Utah, gaining the necessary skills to assist in refractive surgery, as well as being able to recognize, treat, and co-manage anterior and posterior segment diseases. This includes, but is not limited to, Diabetic Retinopathies, Glaucoma, Cataract, and Macular Degeneration.

An avid skier and mountain biker, Dr. Arici fell in love with the people and mountains of Utah during his residency at the Eye Institute of Utah, and decided to make this his home. He started ‘Venice Optometry’ in 2002 and has never stopped trying to improve both his practice and professional knowledge. His primary goal is to always ensure that you have the best possible care. Dr. Arici is an active member of the American Optometric Association and Utah Optometric Association.
